This policy describes the current version of SimpleUtilityBox.

Your letters and search results

The Word Unscrambler processes letters and filters locally in your browser. The tool does not send your rack, filters or results to an AI service or a search API.

Browser storage

We store your selected language in localStorage under word-language. Your browser may cache application files and dictionaries through a service worker so you can search offline. These files remain until cleared, replaced by an update, or removed by your browser.

Hosting requests

Loading pages and dictionaries makes requests to the hosting provider. The provider may process IP addresses, request information and technical logs to deliver and secure the site. The site is prepared for Cloudflare Pages. The operator must confirm the actual hosting arrangements and retention before public launch.

External links

Selecting a word opens Wiktionary. Dictionary credits link to their source websites. Those services have their own privacy practices; opening a link makes a request to the destination.

Advertising and analytics

This version includes no advertising scripts or visitor analytics. If these are introduced, this policy will be updated to describe the providers, data use, retention, and consent controls before activation.

Your choices and contact

You can clear the language preference and offline files through your browser’s site-data settings. A working privacy contact must be provided before public launch; see Contact for current availability.
